Pearl pigment

It expresses the soft and deep luster of pearls compared to metallic luster.

Pearl pigments are powders with a pearlescent luster created by coating mica powder with titanium dioxide. Due to their layered structure, incoming light is regularly reflected (multiple reflections) at each layer, producing a soft and deep pearlescent luster compared to metallic luster. As they are transparent colors, they are affected by the color of the underlying surface, influencing their coloration. They are used in paints, printing inks, and for incorporation into plastics. Cosmetic raw material "pearl pigment"

Using high-quality synthetic mica, the vividness of the pearl luster is truly remarkable! We also offer various surface treatments according to your preferences.

Our "Pearl Pigment" uses high-quality synthetic mica that has had impurities, which greatly affect dullness, brightness, and saturation, removed, resulting in the inherent vividness of pearl luster. Natural mica is used as a base, containing colored impurities such as metals, which significantly impact transparency, brightness, and saturation. Various surface treatments are available upon request. 【Features】 ■ Uses high-quality synthetic mica with impurities removed ■ Inherent vividness of pearl luster ■ Large particle size pearl pigments resembling glitter are also available ■ Various surface treatments are available upon request *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Pearl pigment

The substrate mica comes in two types: natural mica and synthetic mica! It is possible to express color effects.

We would like to introduce the "pearl pigments" that we handle. Pearl pigments are composed of mica coated with titanium dioxide or metal oxides. The flaky surface shines white and exhibits iridescent interference colors through reflection. Pearl pigments based on synthetic mica have stronger whiteness and higher brightness compared to those based on natural mica, allowing for the expression of fantastical color effects for various applications. 【Characteristics of Natural Mica】 - The raw material includes slightly brownish plate-like minerals (white mica) and crystals with a stronger black hue (black mica). - White mica contains a high amount of aluminum in its crystals, while black mica contains more magnesium. - Mica from India, in particular, has large crystals with fewer impurities and is of high quality. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
